After only his first year with the department Jake Peloquin has won the C. A. Anderson Outstanding Faculty Award. Students decide the winner, showing just how much of an impact Peloquin has made in his short time at NC State. This is not his first time being recognized for his success either, receiving prior awards from other institutions like Duke University and the National Science Foundation. 

The C.A. Anderson Awards, held every year since 1977, celebrate outstanding students, faculty and staff in the department. Along with faculty awards, the event honors student organization leaders, scholarship and fellowship winners and other student achievements. The evening recognizes student leadership, academic success and contributions to the department. The night ends with the presentation of the Clifton A. Anderson Outstanding Faculty Award, the highest teaching honor in the department.
