This spring, senior design (SD) and healthcare systems engineering (HSE) teams came together to present the results of months of dedication, creativity and problem-solving. Through the Capstone Project Program, seniors partner with local organizations to tackle real-world challenges, developing practical and innovative solutions along the way. As a culminating experience before graduation, the program allows students to put their knowledge into action while navigating the realities of teamwork, deadlines, and complex project demands.

* The 1st place team will represent NC State at the next IISE National Conference in May 2026.
