ISE faculty, staff, and students attended the 2022 IISE Annual Conference and Expo in Seattle. We had two senior design teams competing against 16 other teams from around the country for top honors, and alumni and faculty receiving national recognition for their achievements. We squeezed in a bit of fun at the NC State ISE Alumni Reception.

Senior Design Competition

Team SpoonFlower, the winning team from the Fall 2021 Engineering Design Day Competition, and Team Bee Downtown, the winners of the Spring 2022 Engineering Design Day Competition, competed against 16 other teams from across the country at the IISE Capstone Project Showcase. Representing Team Spoonflower were Madison Lang and Marie-Hunter Mackie. Team Bee Downtown consisted of Rachel Boswell, Grace Greene and Alyssa SaidiZand.

ISE Alumni Reception

The Department held a reception at the Sky Retreat Lounge for all NC State engineering alumni, hosted by ISE alumnus Tushar Mahale. It was a great time to catch up with alumni attending the IISE Conference and those living in the Pacific Northwest.
