Volunteer

Your time and experience can shape the future of ISE students. By volunteering, you help students grow and succeed.

Moreover, when you speak in a class, lead a tour, or guide a project, students gain real-world knowledge. You’ll give back to the department that helped you—and inspire the next generation of engineers.

Besides, it feels good to give your time where it truly matters.

Volunteer in Ways You Can

No matter your schedule, there’s a way for you to get involved. Choose between one-time events or long-term programs.

One-Time Events

You don’t need a huge time commitment to make a big impact.

  • Give a class presentation, join a panel, or lead a hands-on activity.
  • Additionally, judge final projects during Senior Design Day. You’ll see creative, real-world solutions from student teams.
  • Lead a facility tour and show how classroom ideas work in action.
  • Review resumes or help students practice for interviews. These are just a few ways to share your experience and make a difference in a day.

On-Going Programs

Furthermore, if you want a bigger role, try a semester-long commitment.

  • Sponsor a Senior Design team. Students will work on your real challenge and present solutions by semester’s end.
  • Help students stay on track, apply course skills, and solve problems that matter.
