Daniel Leonard

Prior to December 1992, when Dan Leonard began his career with NCSU in the Materials Science and Engineering department, he worked as a machinist with Edward Valves (née Rockwell International, now Flowserve.) In September 2008 Dan joined the department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, allowing him, as supervisor in ISE’s Manufacturing Processes laboratory, to recommence his interest in machining. As caretaker for this excellent student resource, Dan helps to guide students in manufacturing courses through safe completion of their machining projects.

On Sunday afternoons, you might find Dan with friends in the TraLi Pub in Morrisville, playing traditional Irish dance tunes on his iridescent blue ResoDude.
