Bio

Jenna Ashbrook is from Davidson, North Carolina. She is a senior in NC State’s Industrial and Systems Engineering Department, specializing in Health Systems.

Ashbrook chose Industrial Engineering during her sophomore year after exploring different engineering fields. She soon discovered that ISE matched her interests in problem-solving, efficiency and meaningful improvements.

Through her Health Systems specialization, Ashbrook developed a strong interest in pursuing a healthcare career. She hopes to apply her engineering education to improve healthcare processes and systems. Ultimately, she wants her work to benefit patients, providers and the overall healthcare environment.

Outside the classroom, Ashbrook participates in Delta Gamma and Cru Greek Life. She also leads a Bible study through Delta Gamma. Through this experience, she builds relationships, leads discussions and grows alongside other students.

In her free time, Ashbrook enjoys long walks, yoga classes, pickleball and board games with friends and family.
