Tiansong Wang is a Ph.D. student at NC State with a multidisciplinary background in industrial engineering, materials science and biomedical engineering. He works as a research assistant while developing expertise in engineering management and cross-functional collaboration. His background helps him approach challenges from both device and system perspectives.
Additionally, Wang gained industry experience as an advanced development intern with ZEISS Group. There, he supported X-ray microscope research involving robotics, automation, system integration and advanced imaging workflows.
Before NC State, Wang earned a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Lawrence Technological University. His earlier research experience includes biomedical sensors, hydrogels and optical properties at Xi’an Jiaotong University.
