Bio

Rashik Intisar Siddiquee is a Ph.D. student in NC State’s ISE Department. Before graduate school, Siddiquee worked in project management, data analytics, finance and digital financial services. His experience includes positions with UCB Fintech Company Limited and CVC Finance Limited in Bangladesh.

Beyond his research, Siddiquee serves as president of the INFORMS NCSU Student Chapter. He also volunteers as a geographic information systems consultant with the Capital Area Food Network.

Area(s) of Expertise

His research focuses on supply chain optimization for humanitarian logistics and food bank operations. He uses data analytics, optimization and geospatial tools to improve food access and collaboration among food banks. This includes projects supporting Feed the Pack and NC State’s campus food pantry. He has used Tableau to study food distribution and identify inequities among pantry users. Additionally, he has worked on data standardization for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
