Bruce Rogers is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Duke University. He is a highly experienced data scientist with expertise in biology and social science and a passion for interdisciplinary research. Excellent technical skills in modern machine learning practices and 7+ years experience in commercial software development. More than 5 years experience as team lead on R&D projects, responsible for technical content, experimental design, development of success metrics, firmware architecture and integration with hardware. Superb communication skills with 10+ years teaching experience and comfortable explaining complicated topics to both executives and interns.
