Justin Lancaster named finalist for COE Award for Excellence and receives Pride of the Wolfpack Award in the same day!
Congratulations to Justin Lancaster, ISE’s Director of Information Technology, for being named a finalist for a College of Engineering (COE) Award for Excellence presented by the Executive Assistant Dean, Dr. John Gilligan, on behalf of the COE. Later that same day, Justin received a Pride of the Wolfpack Award during the 38th annual CA Anderson Awards, an ISE departmental ceremony.
Awards for Excellence
The NC State University Awards for Excellence program recognizes the accomplishments and achievements of permanent NC State employees at both the college and University levels who do not hold faculty rank. Annually, the 17 University units/colleges collectively select 50 employees to recognize as award recipients to the University Award for Excellence selection committee to determine the five University-level winners.
A five person committee selected Justin and three other finalists based on the following criteria:
- Innovations
- Customer Service
- Outstanding Service
- Public Service
- Safety/Heroism
- Human Relations
Special thanks go out to everyone at the Ergocenter of NC for submitting such a compelling nomination on Justin’s behalf.
Pride of the Wolfpack Award
The Pride of the Wolfpack Award is a “spot award” designed to recognize individual employees for a special or unique contribution to their college or unit or to the campus community.
Through the generous sponsorship of the NC State Bookstores, recipients of the Pride of the Wolfpack Award will receive a framed certificate and lapel pin.
