The ACC Conference names ISE senior and member of the track and field team, Jonathan Addison, the Men’s Field Performer of the Year
On March 18th, the ACC Conference announced that ISE senior Jonathan Addison had won ACC Men’s Field Performer of the Year honors, an award voted on by ACC head coaches. This is the second year in a row that Addison has received the award.
Addison, a long jumper on NC State’s Track and Field Team, has had an outstanding start to 2016. In February, he had his best jump of the indoor season at the Virginia Tech Elite meet. The leap of 26’9.75″ tied him for the NCAA lead and qualified him for the USA Track and Field Olympic Trials in July.

- USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week
- ACC Men’s Field Performer of the Week
- USTFCCCA Southeast Athlete of the Year
- USTFCCCA’s Indoor Men’s Field Athlete of the Year
Addison isn’t just performing on the track, he is also excelling in the classroom. He has earned ACC All-Academic Team honors three times during his time in the ISE Department.
The ISE community wants to wish Jonathan well as he pursues his quest for Olympic gold this summer.
