Dr. Nancy Larson’s career has been directed toward the application of human factors and ergonomics technical knowledge within business environments. As manager of the ergonomics programs for two major corporations as well as consulting at dozens of others, understanding technical research and then coordinating the application of that knowledge into everyday business practice has been her primary focus.
For the 18 years, Nancy was the manager of 3M’s Corporate Ergonomics Program. Previously she managed the ergonomics program American Express and consulted in a number of industries. Currently, she is a consultant and co-instructor at the University of Minnesota. Nancy has a Ph.D. in Industrial Design from the Delft University, Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering and Bachelors degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University. Board Certified as a Professional Ergonomist in 1993 and inducted as Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Fellow in 2016.
