Each semester, the ISE and OR departments offer prospective graduate students the opportunity to visit NC State and learn about research opportunities, faculty, and the benefits of our degree programs. During the three-day event, students met faculty, graduate research students, and alums from both programs, toured Fitts-Woolard Hall and learned about Raleigh and the Research Triangle and strategies for applying to NC State. The students visited the VR Cave, Biomechanics Lab, 3D Tissue Manufacturing Lab, and CAMAL’s manufacturing space as part of their tour. This visitation provides a chance to see and learn about the faculty and research at NC State. Not only this, but it offers opportunities to network, build skills and get an inside look into two prestigious graduate programs.
