ISE Faculty Member Joins Elite Leadership Program

NC State has chosen ISE associate research professor Brandon McConnell to represent the university in the 2025 ACC Academic Leaders Network (ALN). This prestigious program focuses on developing leadership skills and fostering collaboration among academic leaders across ACC universities.

The ACC ALN helps participants grow as leaders and encourages innovative solutions to challenges in higher education. McConnell’s selection highlights his contributions to NC State and his potential to strengthen the university’s leadership capacity.

Jonathan Holloway, Leadership Program Manager for NC State’s Office for Faculty Excellence, expressed confidence in McConnell’s ability to excel in the program. “We will be proud to have you represent NC State in this cross-institutional leadership program and hope you will find it to be a valuable opportunity to continue to develop as a leader and scholar,” Holloway said.

McConnell will collaborate with leaders from various disciplines and universities during the program. He will gain insights into higher education trends and learn how to apply innovative ideas to real-world challenges. These experiences will allow him to develop relationships and build networks that benefit NC State and the broader academic community.
