Hi! My name is Sarah Gerkin, and I’m a student in Industrial and Systems Engineering. My interest in mathematics, systems, and efficiency led me to join the ISE department. I’m hoping to pursue our Health Systems Engineering program and certificate in my remaining years at NC State. My time in engineering has been challenging but incredibly rewarding and has provided opportunities that I am unable to find anywhere else. I can’t wait to work with fellow students and inform others of what ISE is all about! Go Pack!
