Meet Outstanding Young Alum Lisa Cook

The ISE Department held its annual Alum Hall of Fame Breakfast on November 1st as part of Red and White Week and inducted five new members. Three members (George R. Auten Jr., Hsing P. Luh and Timothy Trainor) of the class of 2024 were awarded the Distinguished Alum Award, and the other two members (Lisa Cook and Natalia Summerville) received the Outstanding Young Alum Award.

Biography

Lisa Cook is an inspiring leader at Wells Fargo, driving strategic data efforts across corporate functions. Previously, she was an executive at Bank of America and a consultant at Ernst & Young, focusing on data and analytics.

At BMW, Lisa helped develop a patented data recovery framework for cyber attacks while serving as COO for the Enterprise Data Organization. Passionate about empowering women in STEM, she mentors others, sponsors the Ocean Advocacy Workshop, and serves on the board of Project Outpour, a nonprofit supporting the homeless. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 2013 and has been named a CDO Magazine 40 Under 40 Data Leader.
