Graduate Financial Aid FAQ
- All applicants are considered for financial support. You can be funded through fellowships, teaching assistant appointments and research assistant appointments. For more information visit the Graduate School Financial Support web page. There is not an additional application to complete.
- You can be funded by departmental teaching or research assistantships. Although, most students receiving departmental research assistantships are Ph.D. students. Assistantship amounts vary and can provide you with an amount ranging from a small monthly stipend to a monthly stipend as well as fee and tuition coverage. The amount of coverage depends upon the funding source for the assistantship. Teaching assistantships will provide you with a monthly salary and will cover your health insurance and tuition. Tuition and fee amounts can be found on the Cashier’s Office website.

- Offers of Financial Aid will be sent out from late February to mid-April.
